Volunteer At Our Grief Counseling Center
Thank you for taking the time to explore our grief counseling center services and our vision of creating a world where no grieving person journeys alone. Volunteers are an integral part of the Cornerstone of Hope team, and we would not be able to serve grieving individuals and families without our volunteers. We look for individuals who have a heart for the grieving, who are kind and compassionate, and who understand and exhibit respect for confidentiality, courtesy, and professionalism.
We offer many volunteers opportunities to use your individual talents and skills at our grief counseling center. These volunteer opportunities encompass every aspect of our organization and range from weekly commitments to help on a less-frequent basis. Volunteers who intend to serve on a regular basis must (1) be at least 18 years old, (2) attend an orientation and training, and (3) undergo a background check. Please note that individuals who have received counseling services at Cornerstone of Hope must wait at least one year since their services ended to submit the application to be considered as a volunteer for our grief counseling center.
Individuals volunteer at Cornerstone of Hope in the following ways:
• Desk Reception
• Clerical Work
• Kitchen Support
• Maintenance and Facility Needs
• Community Outreach
• And more!
