Overview

As clinicians we have a responsibility to help our clients/patients with not only their physical and emotional issues but also their spiritual needs.  In this workshop we will explore a holistic approach to end-of-life care. 

We will discover the meaning of spirituality, discuss the issue of having meaning of life, dying with dignity and interventions that will help the clinician care for their clients and help them find wholeness.  We will delve into our own spirituality and learn how we can tap into that source of help to assist those we work with.

  1. List three specific areas of care-giving that need the spiritual dimension
  2. Describe David Tracy’s method of reflecting on scripture
  3. Understand the meaning of Spirituality
