Interested in learning more about grief or facilitating a support group?
Cornerstone of Hope is the leading provider of bereavement services in Ohio. Aside from the programs we offer to grieving children, teens, and adults, we also provide support for suicide, homicide, and substance-related loss through the Mid-Ohio Traumatic Loss Response Team. Cornerstone of Hope has developed a program to train professionals to facilitate grief support groups.
Two days of training March 12-13, 2026 from 9:00 A.M. - 4:00 P.M. (Participation is mandatory for both days to receive credit)
12 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for social workers and counselors.
Lunch and program materials
Candidates that complete the training will be eligible for contracted work with Cornerstone of Hope to facilitate support groups
Eligible participants must reside or work in Marion, Crawford, Delaware, Morrow, or Union counties (proof of such will be required upon sign-in) and include clinical counselors, social workers, therapists, psychologists, first responders, ministers, and others in the helping field.
