Interested in learning more about grief or facilitating a support group? This training provides the necessary knowledge and skills that will allow you to conduct grief support groups and in-school traumatic loss support groups at Cornerstone of Hope as a member of our PRN staff, or at your own organization. The course is designed to be educational and interactive, with opportunities to explore personal loss histories, and is facilitated by licensed professionals.

Eligible participants must either reside or work in Crawford, Delaware, Marion, or Morrow County (proof of such will be required upon sign-in) and include clinical counselors, social workers, psychologists, frontline workers, ministers, and others in the helping field.
Participation is mandatory for both days. Participants will receive 12 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for social workers and counselors. Trainings are free of charge.
Cornerstone of Hope is the leading provider of bereavement services in Ohio. Aside from the programs we offer to grieving children, teens, and adults, we also offer grief facilitator training for school counselors, clinical counselors, social workers, psychologists, administration, organization leadership, and community members.
Join us for a powerful day of education and awareness on understanding complex trauma caused by loss due to suicide, homicide, and accidental overdose. Presenters will address each of the loss areas and speak about the most current statistics and clinical grief interventions. Personal stories from a panel of survivors in each type of loss will follow. This unique day, hearing both from clinicians and survivors, is sure to inspire you about the resilience of the human spirit in the face of devastating loss.
