Cleveland, Ohio (February 22, 2023) - Cornerstone of Hope's Survivors of Suicide Loss Extended Group Support Network was featured on WEWS News 5 Cleveland on Wednesday, February 22, 2023.

The feature includes interviews with suicide loss survivors, Mike and Ann Atkinson, and Julia Ellifritt, Cornerstone of Hope's Education Director. The story focuses on the hope the couple experienced through participation in the monthly Survivors of Suicide Loss Extended Group Support Network after the death of their 22-year-old son, Christopher.

Ellifritt shares about how the support group assists in the understanding of suicide and the common emotions that survivors experience with this type of loss.

The Survivors of Suicide Loss Extended Group Support Network meets monthly on the second Monday of every month from 6-7:30 p.m. Anyone looking to learn more about suicide loss or grieving the loss of a loved one to suicide is welcome to attend this free group, but registration is required.
