Camp Packing List

What to Bring

Day Camp (Camp Memory and Camp Cornerstone)

  • Comfortable shoes
  • Comfortable clothes (of modest appearance, that you do not mind getting dirty)

Overnight Camp (Camp Lighthouse)

  • Sleeping bag or sheet set for a twin-size bunk bed
  • Pillow
  • Towels (one for bathing and one for swimming)
  • Toiletries (toothpaste, toothbrush, shampoo/conditioner, soap, hairbrush, deodorant)
  • Comfortable Shoes
  • At least three sets of clothing (of modest appearance, that you do not mind getting dirty)
  • Sunscreen & bug spray
  • Flashlight


What Not to Bring

  • Cell Phones or other technology (including iPads, tablets, laptops, etc.)
  • Smart watches are not encouraged due to risk of getting lost or damaged. Smart watches with texting, calling or Wi-Fi capabilities are not permitted at camp.
  • Over the counter medications: These will be provided by the Camp Nurse if needed.
  • Money: There are no instances where campers will need or be permitted to use money while at camp.
  • Food or beverages: All food and beverages will be provided by Cornerstone of Hope staff. Outside food and beverages are not permitted.

“Volunteer for camp and it will be an experience that will change your feelings about life. It was a great experience to see how the kids appreciate being at camp to share their grief. Their sadness then will be shared with other campers and then have some fun times at the field trip. I volunteered twice and was so fulfilled.”
